Fall Campaign 2009

Greetings Parents and Athletes. Next week we start our Fall campaign for 2009-2010.
We are hopeful that everyone had an excellent and safe summer.

This year we will be focusing a lot on goal setting and the attainment of goals. We will also be working on our referral services for Physicians, Therapists, (including Hypnotists), A.R.T.  Body Work, Massage, etc. We are trying to expand the referral network in order to help keep our Athletes healthy and strong, and do this through a network of Professionals that we have Faith in.

Now to the nitty-gritty. We really want to emphasize to Everyone involved in our program, that we are here to be a part of getting you or your athlete cranked up to the highest level of play that is possible for them to achieve. While not everyone is going to be a World Class athlete, everyone can do more and work harder.

Amanda and I have been talking about this for some time in that we see many of the student athletes today just "Showing Up" and "Mailing" it in, as we like to call it. We feel this stems from the kids being left off the hook for things they need to be responsible for, both at home and at school. The teachers are tired and cave in and in some cases give up and some parents cave in to the pressures of parenting. I know, I went through this myself as a parent.

Anyways, that being said, we really are making this year about Diligence, Work Ethic, Discipline, and Character. All of which deposit us closer to our goals. For us at Advanced Athlete, our true payback comes not from the money we earn, but rather from the lives that we change, and the Hope we give someone who is struggling in this competitive world of athletics. We can't do it alone. We need everyone to buy into the potential, the hopes, and the dreams! Remember, "we can always make more money or things, but we can't make more time." Once a year is gone, it is gone forever, so let's make this year one that we dedicate to reaching our goals and begin that exciting journey towards our dreams. Or, put more in the way that I usually say it," Don't come to Advanced Athlete and expect to be treated like your 5th period History teacher treats you."

We expect more, we want more, and we're going to get more out of you than you thought possible. Everyone that walks out of our facility this year will be Stronger, Faster, Quicker, and more Explosive—you just have to want it yourself as MUCH as we want it for YOU! And then show up accordingly. And, if you don't want that, it might be time to re-think those goals.

Here's to a great year!!

Starting next week we will be on an afternoon schedule. Tentatively we are looking M-F at 3:30 and 4:30 sessions, and Sat. 10:00 and 11:00 as our primary training slots.  We will be adding additional session times when these are filled. We need input from everyone, and like every other year, the first couple of weeks are crazy, with the different schedules and all. E-mail us and let us know what time slots you may be looking at. Any special evening (5 or 6 o'clock) would probably need to be on Tue/ Thur. Anyways, there it is. Let us know your thoughts.

Also, If anyone wants an Advanced Athlete Hoodie, let me know. I will be putting together an order soon.  I'll send a price quote in the next week, they won't be that expensive.
